SoBe West Board Elections 2026
SOBE West is happy to announce we are kicking off our annual election of new Board Members. Nominations will be open as of January 15, 2026. We have three seats open and are looking for individuals that want to contribute to making our neighborhood a better place and will invest time to collaborate with our city on specific projects.
Are you interested in joining our Board? Here’s what it takes.
Individuals with current or past involvement with community organizations.
Live in our SOBE West neighborhood boundaries (5th Street, to Collins Canal, Alton Road to the Bay).
Nice to haves: experience with technology, communication or engineering/construction
Complete application on the SOBE West website (here) and submit a one-page resume by February 13, 2026.
Complete interview with Nominating Committee by March 2, 2026.
On March 9, 2026 the Nominating Committee will notify all candidates approved to run and will be placed on a ballot online.
Who can vote?
Member of SOBE West Neighborhood Association to be determined by the following criteria:
On the SOBE West mailing list
Lives in the SOBE West boundaries
Cannot represent a developer or a lobbyist
An online voting system will be made available between March 16-March 31 for residents to submit their votes. Results will be announced at our meeting in April SOBE meeting.
